Basic sewing and bearmaking experience required for hand stitching.
Honey-bun requires the following if you wish to make her:
Fabric
- Steiff Schulte mohair. Size 50cm x 35cm
- Wool felt, ultrasuede or similar for footpads. Size: 13cm x 9cm. Ultrasuede, mini velvet or mock suede– size: 10cm x 13cm in pale pink or beige for inner ears.
- Ribbon: Approx. 60cm for neck tie bow.
- Florists Wire for shaping ears, two pieces, approx 30cm in length.
Eyes
- One pair 9mm brown or black glass eyes.
Joints
- Two size 25mm discs for head to body connection. Four size 20mm discs for arms to body connection. Four size 35mm discs for legs to body connection.
Hardware
- Four size 4mm x 16mm Slot-head Screws, Four size 4mm Locknuts, Eight 4mm inner diameter Washers for limbs to body connection.
- One 2.5mm x 32mm Cotter Pin & two 3mm inner diameter washers for head to body connection.
Thread
- 5 metres variegated pink Perle embroidery thread for nose, mouth & footpad detailing.
Notes
- Hollofibre filling is not included in the kit.
- Honey-bun is a collectable bear and not suitable for unsupervised young children due to small parts.
