Basic sewing and bearmaking experience required for hand stitching.
Roxy requires the following if you wish to make her:
Fabric
- Dense, straight pile Steiff Schulte synthetic fur - size: 30cm x 35cm (or you can use mohair or alpaca). Steiff Schulte viscose or similar soft fabric for inner ears. Size: 10cm x 10cm.
- Ultrasuede to match or contrast with fur for paws and footpads. Size: 8cm x 10cm.
- Ribbon neck trim. Size 60cm x 2cm.
Eyes
- One pair 9mm or brown or black glass eyes.
Joints
- Ten size 30 mm joint discs for the head and limb to body connection.
Hardware
- Four size 4 x 16mm screws, four size 4mm locknuts, eight size 4mm inner diameter washers.
- One 2.5mm x 32mm cotter pin and two 3mm inner diameter washers
Thread
- 1.5 metres #5 brown or black Perle embroidery thread for nose, mouth & claws.
Notes
- Hollofibre filling is not included in the kit.
- Roxy is a collectable bear and not suitable for unsupervised young children due to small parts.
