Claire 26cm Steiff-Schulte Rayon Viscose 5-Way Jointed Bear Kit

Claire is a 26cm vintage style, dressed bear, 5-way jointed and created from Steiff-Schulte rayon viscose.

Claire requires the following if you wish to make her:

Fabric

• Steiff-Schulte rayon viscose - sized 36 cm x 35 cm.
• Cotton fabric for bodice and lining - sized 16 cm x 28 cm.
• Velour for skirt - sized 13 cm x 42 cm.
• Velour for headband - sized 30 cm x 5 cm.
• Tulle or netting for petticoat - sized 14 cm x 80 cm.
• Tulle or netting for ruffle - sized 5 cm x 36 cm.
• Reverse of rayon viscose for paw/foot pads.

Eyes

• One pair 8 mm black or brown glass eyes with loops

Joints

• 2 x size 25 mm fibre joint discs 4mm id for the head to body.
• 4 x size 20 mm fibre joint discs 4mm id for the arms to body.
• 4 x size 30 mm pressed board joint discs for the legs to body.

Hardware

• 4 x Slot-head screws, 4 x Lock-nuts and 8 x Washers for limb connections.
• 1 x Cotter pin and 2 x washers for head and body connection.

Thread

• 1.5 metres #5 Black or Brown Perle embroidery thread to embroider her nose and mouth & mouth.

Trim

• One ornate button trim for headband.

Notes

• Hollofibre filling is not included in the pattern.
• Glass beads are optional, to add weight.
• Claire is a collectable bear and not suitable for young children due to small parts.
