March

Did you know that March...

...is named after the God of War

The name 'March' comes from the Roman God of war — Mars.

...makes Hares a little 'mad'

In the Northern Hemisphere, March marks the beginning of spring, and male hares are on the lookout for partners to mate with. This inspired the English idiom ... "mad as a March hare"!

...has three consecutive Consonants in its name

It's the only month in the year, that has a unique name with three consecutive consonants.

...is the month of the Autumnal Equinox

On the 20th of this month — the autumnal equinox in the Southern Hemisphere — you'll be able to witness 12 hours of day and 12 hours of night!
