The Perfect Tea Pot for Tea and Tea Parties!

Tea Pot

We were blessed with this delightful teddy bear teapot which we know is going to enhance the taste of our tea at tea parties! Thank you so much, Lynne — it is already in constant use and will be treasured!

Handy thread winder and thread holders

Do you often have odd lengths of narrow ribbons, narrow lace or embroidery threads that come in skeins and need to be stored somewhere? Then these handy thread card holders, available in either card or plastic, are most useful.

And getting them on the card holder is even easier with a thread winder. Simply slot the card into the winder, place the end of the thread in the little slit on the top of the card to secure it, and then turn the winder handle to get the thread onto the card. Placing the base of the thread winder onto the side of a box will secure it as you work with it.

Winder Holder

Thread Winder: Only R15 each.

Card Thread Holder: Only R2 for 10 cards.

Plastic Thread Holder: Only R3 for 10 cards.

Don't forget to put the colour number of your thread on the card holder for easy identification if not a basic black or brown. An alternative to writing the number directly onto the card is to merely cut the colour number off the thread label and tape it to the card.

Remember our blue and cream Steiff-Schulte Mohair 'Special'? Look what we did with it!

Richard

We used one of our older patterns, Richard, a 40 cm traditional bear and made him a sailor collar to add a bit of interest (we're growing our collection of sailor bears!). If you purchased this 'special' mohair and made a bear, please send us a pic — we'd love to see it.
