It's already past the half way mark in January, and although Christmas has become an almost distant memory, we do hope that you had a wonderful break with your families and
that the spirit of Peace, Hope and Love was with you all.
Having bid farewell to 2012 and welcomed a brand new year, we wonder how many of you have made, and are still committing to, any New Year's resolutions? If you have, good
luck with maintaining them. According to some pundits, one should make only one resolution, thereby increasing your chances of success as you channel energy into changing just one aspect of your
behaviour. Food for thought.
As we move forward into 2013, we wish you a year filled, not only with good health and happiness, but lots of exciting occasions which, in turn, will create special
memories!

For many, life is returning to normal after the holidays. Everyone's getting back into the swing of things - heading back to work after a beach, 'berg or bush holiday;
school life for children resumes in earnest; and we're busy planning new designs, projects and events and look forward to sharing these with you in the months to come. So don't forget to find some

Our Tea Party's Summer Challenge
Summer arrived on the 24th November, 2012 at our last Tea Party of the year. Durban's gardens were green (thanks to all the rain), the sun was shining again and we thought
it would be a perfect excuse to have a Summer Challenge. So, what did it involve?
We handed each bearmaker two pieces of Steiff-Schulte, short pile string mohair — one hand-dyed green and the off-white. They were then challenged to be creative and
make anything that could be found in a garden... a flower bear, a butterfly, etc.
Our next Tea Party in Durban is planned for the 23rd February, 2013 and we are so looking forward to seeing the result. We'll keep you updated!

A One Morning Workshop
