Daisy Doo 28cm Mohair 5-Way Jointed Bear Pattern

Daisy Doo's pattern will enable you to create this 5-way jointed, string mohair bear. Her appealing and stylish appearance is attributed to her stunning Steiff Schulte string mohair coat as well as her trademark pawpad, footpads and inner ears – lovingly hand-embroidered, of course, with a daisy design using lazy daisy stitches - making her all the more irresistible!

Basic sewing and bearmaking experience required for hand stitching.

Daisy Doo requires the following if you wish to make her:

Fabric

• Short pile (8mm - off-white) Steiff-Schulte string mohair – sized 50 cm x 35 cm.
• Reverse of mohair is used for her paws, footpads and inner ears.

Eyes

Joints

• 2 x size 35 mm discs for head to body connection.
• 8 x size 25 mm discs for limb to body connection.

Hardware

• 4 x Slot-head screws, 4 x Lock-nuts and 8 x Washers for limb connections.
• 1 x Cotter pin and 2 x washers for head and body connection.

Thread

• 0.5 metre #5 brown perle embroidery thread for nose & mouth.

Notes

• Hollofibre filling is not included in the pattern.
• Optional additional filling such as glass beads or plastic pellets can be added to her tummy for weight.
• Coloured embroidery threads for the lazy daisy stitching are not included in the pattern. Use a selection from your own collection and vary the colours according to your personal taste.
• Daisy Doo is a collectable bear and not suitable for young children due to small parts.
