Chibi's pattern will enable you to create this 5-way jointed mohair ted. A Japanese anime inspired character bear with ultrasuede paws and footpads, Chibi's unusual looks will add a whole new dimension to your bear collection!

Size

18 cm


Chibi requires the following if you wish to make him:

Fabric
  • Short, sparse (teddy colour) Schulte mohair - sized 25 cm x 35 cm (1/16th).
  • Ultrasuede for paws and footpads - sized 7 cm x 7 cm.
  • Ultrasuede (white) for shapes behind Chibi’s eyes - sized 3 cm x 3 cm.
  • Note: You can use a 13mm fibre disc to draw the circles!
Eyes
  • One pair 12mm brown glass eyes with loops.
Joints
  • 2 x size 20 mm fibre discs, for head to body connection.
  • 8 x size 17 mm fibre discs, for limb to body connection.
Hardware
  • 5 x 1.6 mm x 20 mm cotter or T-pins for the head and limbs to body connection.
Thread
  • 2 metres #5 black Perle embroidery thread for his nose and mouth.

Notes

  • Hollofibre filling is not included in the pattern.
  • Glass beads/plastic pellets, are optional, to add weight.
  • Chibi is a collectable bear and not suitable for young children due to small parts.

Download Instructions
