Lilliana 21cm Mohair 5-Way Jointed Bear Pattern

Lilliana just loves lilies and is particularly fond of arums. Created from Steiff-Schulte mohair, Liliana is 5-way jointed, has glass eyes, an embroidered nose and has firmly filled limbs but a soft, squooshy, pellet filled tummy. Her paws and footpads use the reverse of the mohair for a perfect colour match. She is 21cm in size and holds a bouquet of ultrasuede/felt arums. Supplies and info on how to make her bouquet are included in the kit. A cute 'broderie anglaise' lace ribbon is placed in front of one ear adding a feminine touch.

Basic sewing and bearmaking experience required for hand stitching.

Lilliana requires the following if you wish to make her:

Fabric

• Distressed 15mm pile, or similar, Steiff-Schulte mohair - sized 50 cm x 23 cm.
• Paws and footpads use the reverse of the mohair.

Eyes

Joints

• 4 x size 20 mm joint discs for the arms to body connection.
• 6 x size 25 mm joint discs for the head to body connection.

Hardware

• 4 x Slot-head screws, 4 x Lock-nuts and 8 x Washers for limb connections.
• 1 x Cotter pin and 2 x washers for head and body connection.

Thread

• 1 metre #5 or #8 black Perle embroidery thread for nose, mouth.

Trim

• Lace and ribbon for ear trim (colours/style may vary from pic).

Bouquet

• Lilies: 3 x cream Ultrasuede pieces, approx. size 4 cm x 4 cm.
• Leaf: 1 green Ultrasuede piece, approx size 4 cm.
• Stems: 4 x green ultrasuede pieces, strips approx. size 8 cm x 1 cm.
• Stamen: Scrap of yellow felt for the stamen, approx. 3 cm x 1 cm.
• Florists wire: 4 x pieces approx. 7 cm each.
• Ribbon: narrow green and narrow white, each approx. 35 cm.

Notes

• Hollofibre filling is not included in the kit.
• Plastic pellets or glass beads are optional for a squooshy tummy.
• Lilliana is a collectable bear and not suitable for young children due to small parts.
