Mitzi Kitzi 18cm Anime-style Mini Velvet 5-Way Jointed Kitty Pattern

Mitzi Kitzi pattern is for an 18cm anime-styled kitty with embroidered facial detail. Use those basic embroidery skills you learnt as a child - lazy daisy, stem stitches and french knots. Her outer ears and tail are created from fur, providing good contrasting texture with the mini velvet used for her head, inner ears, body and limbs. She has ultrasuede eye backings to accentuate the shape of her eyes and the ruffled neck trim and bow tail with bell add to her femininity. She has green, glass cat's eye, and embroidered nose and mouth and is 5-way jointed.

Basic sewing and bearmaking experience required for hand stitching.

Mitzi Kitzi requires the following if you wish to make her:

Fabric

• Mini Velvet - sized 25 cm x 30 cm.
• Mini Velvet - sized 4.5 cm x 24 cm for her tail and outer ears.
• Ultrasuede - sized 4 cm x 2 cm for the shapes behind her eyes.

Eyes

Joints

• 2 x size 20 mm joint discs for the head.
• 8 x size 17 mm joint discs for the arms & legs.

Hardware

• 5 x 1.6 mm x 20 mm cotter pins.

Thread

• 0.50 metres embroidery thread for her nose and mouth.
• 5 x different coloured stranded embroidery threads for the embroidered detail on her face.

Trim

• 5 cm x 70 cm coloured netting for her neck frill.
• 3 cm x 15 cm coloured netting for her tail bow.
• One small bell to attach to the bow on her tail.

Notes

• Hollofibre filling is not included in the pattern.
• Mitzi Kitzi is a collectable bear and not suitable for young children due to small parts.
