Petunia 20cm Steiff-Schulte Mohair 5-Way Jointed Panda Kit

Petunia is a petite 20cm panda.  Created from two contrasting coloured Steiff-Schulte mohairs, she is 5-way jointed and has stitched claws on her paws and footpads. The black ultrasuede tear drop shapes as well as the small white ultrasuede backing behind her eyes, give her an innocent appeal.

Size 20 cm

Petunia requires the following if you wish to make her:

Fabric

• Steiff-Schulte short pile mohair. Dark coloured: sized 25 cm L x 27 cm. Light coloured: sized 16.5 cm L x 26.5 cm W
• Ultrasuede or Felt for paw/foot pads – sized 9 cm x 8 cm.
• Ultrasuede for tear drops: Dark - sized 3 cm x 3cm.  Light under eye backing - sized 1.5cm x 2.5cm

Eyes

One pair 10 mm black glass eyes with loops

Joints

• 6 x size 20 mm x 4mm ID fibre joint discs for the head, arms.
• 4 x size 25 mm x 4mm ID fibre joint discs for the legs.

Hardware

• 4 x Slot-head screws, 4 x Lock-nuts and 8 x Washers for limb connections.
• 1 x Cotter pin and 2 x washers for head and body connection.

Thread

• 3 metres #8 or #5 Black Perle embroidery thread to embroider her nose, mouth and claws on paws and footpads.

Notes

• Hollofibre filling is not included in the pattern.
• Glass beads/plastic pellets, are optional, to add weight.
• Petunia is a collectable bear and not suitable for young children due to small parts.
