Petunia's pattern will enable you to create this 5-way jointed, Steiff-Schulte mohair panda. Included with the pattern are step-by-step instructions and a photo.

Petunia is a petite panda, created from two contrasting coloured Steiff-Schulte mohair and is 5-way jointed. She has black ultrasuede tear drop shapes behind her eyes as well as a little white ultrasuede beneath her eye to create her innocent appeal. Her paws and footpad have embroidered claws.

Petunia requires the following if you wish to make her:
Fabric
- Two contrasting coloured Steiff-Schulte mohairs. Dark colour: 25 cm L x 27 cm W. Light colour: 16.5 cm L x 26.5 cm W
- Ultrasuede or Felt for paw/foot pads – sized 9 cm x 8 cm.
- Ultrasuede in black for tear drops sized 3 cm x 3cm and white for eye backings – sized 3 cm x 3 cm.
Eyes
One pair 10 mm black glass eyes with loops
Joints
- 6 x size 20 mm x 4 mm ID fibre discs for the head, arms.
- 4 x size 25 mm x 4mm ID fibre discs for the legs.
Hardware
- 4 x Slot-head screws, 4 x Lock-nuts and 8 x Washers for limb connections.
- 1 x Cotter pin and 2 x washers for head and body connection.
Thread
- 3 metres #8 or #5 Black Perle embroidery thread to embroider his nose, mouth and claws on paws and footpads.
Notes
- Hollofibre filling is not included in the pattern.
- Glass beads/plastic pellets, are optional, to add weight.
- Petunia is a collectable bear and not suitable for young children due to small parts.
