A tapered awl is a very useful bearmaking tool. It is used to separate the threads of the fabric thus creating a small opening to facilitate the insertion of glass eyes, slot head, cap screws, cotter or t-pins in your bear.
This awl is 11cm in size, has an easy-to-hold wooden handle and a tapered point, enabling you to make smaller or larger holes. A removable plastic sheath protects the awl point when not in use.
It is advisable to keep the awl away from young children for safety reasons.
